So is anyone else going to try this novel writing thing? Sounds pretty interesting allthough I had no idea it even existed until 5 minutes ago. Ive signed up under Walexei (shocking that is). 50'000 words sounds like a hell of a lot in one month when I take into consideration that every story i have ever written gets to a few thousand words before I lose interest and start on another idea, but I'm sure i'm probably not the only one. If anyone else is going to give it a try then it would be cool to follow your progress, if only to steal ideas wink.gif

Now if it weren't slap-bang in the middle of primetime essay season, I'd have a go. And also, if I hadn't found out about it two days before it started. Ah well, next year...

I'm doing it. Not signing up for anything, but I'm trying it on my own. It's being slowed down by an overload of homework, the need to sleep, and my own desire to write the whole thing with a quill pen. I'm having trouble figuring out how to use it- it's not quite as self-explanatory as it seems. Or maybe it is as self explanatory as it seems, and I'm just particularly inept.

Actualy, creating a story that doesn't turn into complete tripe after 20,000 words is alot harder then people say, because often you'll have passed your basic idea and get stuck on where to go from there, but what they hell. I might write something for fun anyways and enter it if I get it up in time.

Well, I'm two months too bloody early, but what the hell, I made a thread for this years competition. And because I'm anally retentive and don't want to dance across two threads, here's a link!

Yes! This one! Here!
