Mine's a custom sprite I made of me, in the style of the original Final Fantasy characters. It's not good or accurate or anything, but whatever.

What exactly is .Hack? I've heard some things about it, but I've never understood what it is.

.Hack is a video game (and perhaps a show as well??).

My avatar is me as drawn by the fabulous artist, Laura Redcloud (my brother).

Mine is an oil portrait of a young black-beard.

Actually it's just a picture of myself.

For some reason Bandai has a "Project .Hack" going on, and so its in all sorts of mediums. TV series, manga, video games, OAV series... I don't know what they're trying to pull off.

Duck, its about an MMORPG that everyone plays. Depending on what series (game or other-wise) you get into, there's always something different, but apparently they're supposed to all come together in the end?

I must say.. I think Heccubus' new avitar is great.. (I'm a big fan of 50's and 60's styled robots.

Mine is a personal rendition of Robbie the Robot from the forbidden planet movie poster. I originally designed it as a potential tatoo.. if I were to ever get one. So it is just Black and Red done in an ink or silkscreen style. (All done in photoshop and then flash was used to do the final smoothing of the lines.)

I can't tell, it looks like one of the millions of idiotic-looking cartoons we drew in Religion classes.
Oh, and my avatar is actually a portion of the robot that I use for my musical project's art (CD covers, logos, etc). I just found it on Google and the site it was on hadn't been updated in ages, so I figured it was okay to take.

i don't remember naming him, but Jimmy seems kinda apt. actually, he'd be better without a proper name, i think.

Totally depends on the software you have. What program are you using to scan the images into?

Don't know a thing about it, but I'd assume it has a "save as" option where you can choose the format you'd like to save it as.
