I think this thread is stuck in some sort of horrible time warp. It keeps getting bumped, and new people's usernames appear as the last poster, but all I can see is Gobbler's post about the etymology of the word "octopus". *scratches head*

Speaking of octopuses, this one time I was in Japan, in this used manga store...

If anyone ever starts a story that way, run. Screaming. Unless you want to be horribly scarred by images of exploding tentacle phalluses combined with dismembered schoolgirls. In the worst ways possible, which are far worse than anything you could imagine.

Ah! I've discovered how to escape it.

Apparantly, the time warp doesn't affect me if the first page I go to in this thread is the last one. But if I switch to an earlier page, the latest one disappears. But I'm good.
