FADE IN:

EXT. THE CENTER OF A FOREST - MORNING

The forest is mostly quiet, save for the chirping of a few birds, the chattering of a few squirrels and the echoing croak of frogs. Leaves are falling into an impossibly perfect pile, about the size of a large wheelbarrow.

The sun shines through the trees, drying the moist leaves and grass. The pile of leaves has become a bright patch of yellow, orange and red. But then a green leaf falls on top of the pile.

From the green leaf a strange light starts to engulf the leaves, not burning them but fusing them together.

The fusing leaves begin to take shape, causing the pile to shrink. As the light grows brighter, the pile becomes smaller, until begins to form an undeniably human outline within the light.

And then, the light is gone. No fading, no dissolve, just gone. Laying half curled up where the pile was is a beautiful, naked woman with long, slightly tangled red hair. Lying on her side, she sleeps peacefully her chest rising and falling without duress she is KOSCINA.

CLOSE UP - Koscina’s hand. An acorn falls, gently bouncing off of her hand.

CLOSE UP - Koscina’s face. Her eyes slowly open, a dazzling emerald coloring.

PULL BACK -

Koscina sits up, looking at her hand curiously.

KOSCINA (V.O.)
He told me to look at my hand, for a part of it came from a star that exploded too long ago to imagine.

DISSOLVE TO -

Space, the endless void marked by the faint glimmer of stars.

A fiery comet screams through space, breaking into an atmosphere any atmosphere and breaking through to the other side, still screaming through space.

KOSCINA (V.O.)
This part of me was formed from a tongue of fire that screamed through the heavens until there was our sun.
As the comet fades into the distance, the sun begins to form and fill the screen.

KOSCINA (V.O.)
And this part of me this tiny part of me was on the sun itself when it exploded.

The sun explodes, releasing a thousand balls of light streaking through space.

CU - One particular spark, shooting off from the rest.

KOSCINA (V.O.)
...and whirled in a great storm until the planets came to be.

Within the spark, Koscina’s figure begins to form. As her form materializes, the blackness of space begins to dissolve into the forest, the figure of Koscina changing her position within the spark to match her sitting position on the ground.

CUT - Koscina’s dazzling gaze drifts away from her hand to the ground.

POV - Koscina overlooks her body, bare and exposed to the world and its elements.

She rises to her feet, a tall, svelte woman, and holds her arms apart.

The wind begins to blow, whipping her hair around, obscuring her face, but not her emerald gaze. Leaves start whipping around her in a cyclone, and then, almost like leeches, attach themselves to her body. With a thin glow about their lines they fuse together, forming and solidifying a dress.

With her body covered by the thick green dress, the wind subsides. Lowering her arms with a small smile, she walks ahead, leaving the center forest behind.

FADE OUT
