Two of my roommates really dig Most Haunted (they were watching a marathon...), what is that about anyway. I hear someone making a noise and all the people in the room go berserk. What the hell? Anyone cares to explain?

This group goes around Britain visiting the most haunted locations they can find, then they spend the whole night at each of them searching for ghosts, holding vigils, and trying to contact the spirits said to haunt the places. I actually really like the show whether it's real or not. It can be funny as hell sometimes, too, like one time when they kept asking a ghost over and over if it wanted them to leave.

(*paraphrasing*)
"If you want us to leave, please give us a sign."
(*something falls/flies at them, they freak out*)
"Ok...could you do that again please, if you really want us to leave?"
(*same thing happens*)
"Ok, if you're really, really angry and--"
"Nonono, don't say that!"
"All right...this is the last time I'm going to ask. If you really want us to leave, could you--"
(*loud-ass noise and something near them breaks, they all have a fit and run out of the basement*)

That whole scene made me laugh my ass off. And the host is unbelievable - she always freaks out, all the time. But personally, I mainly watch the show for Derek Acorah (sp?), their psychic. I just always get such a kick out of him.
Check out my crappy drawings!

Chyld is an ignorant slut.

Derek's a loon (but what can you expect from an ex-footballer), Yvette wears too much eye shadow, and the producer spends most of every episode looking like he's auditioning for the blair witch project.

If I didn't know better I'd swear it was an extremely clever satire.

Trash TV at it's finest.

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....
