Thanks, Slade. I try to do my best, but there IS all that working and crap. But that's inevitable, of course.

The sad thing is the lost opoortunities for doing things that will never come back.

For example. If I knew that abosutely nothing that I learnt at school or univesity would be useful in life I would have spent more time playing computer games. wink.gif

Hey, University teaches valuable life lessons; I for one learned how to roll a 7 skinner, discovered how to evade the TV license people, and how to lie around all day skipping classes, plaing videogames and watching documentry channels.

Now smile MC, and replace that depressing custom rank with something upbeat. smile.gif

Already at university I have learned numerous break-and-entry techniques. So, you know, in case this whole engineering thing doesn't work out..... devil.gif

Yeah, emo is fairly widespread, do they use the term stoner in Australia? Or goth? This subject interests me.

Stoner, yes.
Goth, yes, but the people who call themselves goth these days are all total posers.

gothclubs all play straight up dance music now, but they just select the tracks that are slightly more bassy then the ministry of sound type stuff you get in normal clubs...

the goth scene was raped by the mainstream, and exposed 90% of goths for the blind sheep they are...

Stoner - though 'pothead' and 'guy from nimbin' are equally likely.
goth - only within spitting distance of high school.

what the heck is 'emo'

I don't know what weird stuff people are saying in Sydney, but I've never heard 'emo' in Brisbane.

Sydney is Australia'a gateway to the rest of the world (culturally speaking). If anything about the rest of the world makes it to Australia, it comes through Sydney and rarely makes it any further than that due to the lack of civilized places between major cities...

Melbourne seems suprisingly enlightened and cool, but i think that's just gravity...

I'd have thought Goths would have a hard time in Oz. All that black clothing must really absorb the heat, and keeping the trademark pasty white skin must be a hellava challenge....

EDIT:- Nice to see a new title MC, and it even has geek cthulhu reference smile.gif

I love cthulhu. I don't get the chance to play it very often anymore. No one's running it at the moment.

Fucking A.

And Emo music is basically like punk for sissies. An Emo person usually wears girl pants and talks about how painful life is. I'd rather hang around a goth.

Have you tried the new boardgame 'Arkham Horror'? It's quite fun and is a nice filler in between campaignes.
