Some games I actually want to play with a D-pad, just for how it feels. Sadly, most every game now is done with a joystick.

I don't have a PS2 and I always wanted one because there were a lot of PS2 exlcusive games with great reviews and it also had a lot of third-party support. The bad thing about the PS3? That horrible boomerang controller.
The Revolution looks so awesome to me and I think it's better than the PS3, but sadly it won't get a lot of third-party support.
And I don't really need a 360. Most games are ported to the PC and I can go to a friend's house to play Halo.
First: I bet the PS3 controller is comfortable as fuck, even if it looks dumb.
Second: If you look at the facts, I think you'd realize that PS3 will probably be better than the Revolution, unless Nintendo gets thier asses in gear.

Halo and Halo 2 were both very over rated by everyone, and you're all forgetting how much these systems are going to cost. Last I heard, ps3 was going to be betwixt 400 and 500$ US, dunno about the xBox, but I'm sure it's going to be up there.
Nnoooo... Halo 1 is great fun in single and multi-player. Halo 2 had an iffy campaign, but the multiplayer is great if you have a bunch of friends that you invite. The only bad thing about it is that you have to have lots of friends, cause the Live game hosting sucks. It automatically puts you in a game type, but you only get to pick the general category, like "Multiplayer" or "Free-for-all". You don't know the map or weapons till you join the game. If anything, that should be why it's overrated.
And we hit post 100000...!
