I just discovered that there was more than just one page to the comic. I just finished re-reading The Great Gatsby so I was able to fully appreciate all the literary references. Or at least most of them. Who knows how many more there could be!

How sad that you only just realized there's a whole comic there. However, how wonderful that you just discovered it!

Strangely, I was just showing this to Jen last week as she had never seen it before.

For those who haven't seen it...

Oh I knew it was there, I've seen everything on L&E except for some of the girlier articles done by Laura. The problem is I thought it was just a one page comic about a guy who had a bagel, thus the title. I only dared to dream that it might be the begining of a longer and more epic storyline. Saints be praised, my dream became a reality!

That is an amazing comic. I was there the day it was born. Paul drew it at my apartment!!!

I suppose you'll have to wait until Paul visits the L&E messageboard and finds out there is demand for a sequel. The ending is more mysterious than I remember.

Does that make you Mr. Bagel Have's mother? Was there a father, or was Mr. Bagel have conceived by Midichlorians alone? If so, I think I'm going to skip Paul's prequel, "The Bagel Menace"
