Thanks a lot guys...I don't know what to say.
My parents and brothers have cleared the house of whatever they could take with them, and are now staying with my oldest brother and his wife in Port Allen/Baton Rouge.
No, wait, I just found out, my mom and dog are staying with my oldest brother and my sister-in-law, my older brother is back in Lafayette and he has our cats with him, and my dad is still in Lake Charles working and waiting out the storm (he's the chief engineer at the TV station, so he's got to make sure everything works out there, too). Lake Charles is in the South West corner of Louisiana, really closer to Texas, so yeah, even if we're not getting the eye we've still got the shit end of things.
Here's how we're spread out.

I just got news that my family and house are okay! A few uprooted trees, a damaged porch, and a genernally shitty weekend had by all (loss of power, air conditioning, water, and phones), but hey! No flooding or trees through the roof!
I would have reported sooner, but those of us living in Sabine dorm in Natchitoches (see map), had no working phone lines until this afternoon.
