I'm fairly pissed off. I don't want more stupid gimmicks designed to make easy money. I want a console with online play, good games, and support from developers. Maybe I'm just a retro stick in the mud, but why do we need to change gaming? There's nothing wrong with the way it works now... I'd much rather we innovated the software than the way one controls the system.

...

Just watched the videos... Ok, when I need to use a motion sensing remote to play a game about fly swatting or fishing, I'll let you know. Until then, I think I'm going to go get my roomies to play Super Smash Bros.

*sigh* I just may have to jump ship after all...

No; Crappy attempts at innovation, adjustment of the genre to make it 'accessable to a new audience' and shoddy writing killed the adventure game.

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....

The adventure game wasn't broke, it just needed a facelift.

I think that I'll just find one of my friends who plans on getting it. Same goes for the PS3. I'll buy an Xbox 360 when the price drops. My younger brother is buying it right aways, so all I have to deal with is him. It isn't as hard as you think.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Until Microsoft proves to me that they'll keep some of thier hits on the Xbox actually exclusively on the Xbox, I don't buy one. I can get all the hits on PC.

And by hits I mean games that are worth my time playing. Halo, KOTOR 1+2, etc...

I just hope I don't get anyone telling me that PC is dead.
