(is tempted to go further with the joke, signalling the very convenient shape the controller has for taking advantage of the rumble feature, but withdraws, too)

The Revolution is going to be awesome. Watch the video.

http://media.cube.ig...334/vids_1.html

There are a lot of possibilities for the Nintendo Revoulution too! I want one!

http://cube.ign.com/...1/651224p1.html

Now you know why it's called Revolution! Gaming isn't going to be the same..

You wish. This thing looks so hokey. I wouldn't be surprised if every move the player makes is interpreted as the Controller moving...

Could Nintendo be the death of after the pub gaming?

Seriously guys, anyone remember the CDI? Someone at the plumbercorp clearly does.

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....

So its a light ray controller - whats so revolutionary. Lightrays have been around since 1984, the only interesting thing about this one is that its the primary controller and isn't shaped like a gun.

Also - when people say the modern controller is complex - it is. But it controls more complex programs, and is designed to make it simple. The Xbox controller has six buttons, two triggers, two thumbsticks and a D-pad, and is easy as pie to use. With a light ray that looks like a TV remote, it might work - it might rock. But it isn't going to be revolutionary. Also - unless it has good games and isn't prohibitively expensive it's just a box with a funky controller.
