I was watching Ep. IV a couple of months ago, and it did occur to me, finally, the absurdity of Greedo shooting first:
HAN WAS SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM! HOW COULD HE HAVE FREAKING MISSED THAT?
George altered them to make them more 'realistic'. but instead, made IV even more dumbfounded than it already was: Everyone, including Stormtroopers and ugly bountyhunters, are TERRIBLE shots. I mean TERRIBLE with a capital T!
Thought I would share that with everyone.

I think we've been over this one, but it's always fun to bring it up again I suppose.
And don't forget the anorexic daffy duck robots - they can't shoot worth shit either.
I am the Fisher King.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

I love the Special Editions OT. They are better quality than the older ones, and while some of the changes are great, others are not that great. Greedo shooting first never really bugged me until I began thinking about it more.
Lol Are those the battledroids you are talking about?

Battlebots, that would be good. To see those late 1990's pit-bull robots take down the droid army. And receive medals. Later, they'll rescue our jedi from the bug-people arena and as a last noble act, to serve as lava surfboards.
But that's not all. They end up in the DS trash compactor, and are later set adrift (with the rest of the garbage). In the end, we see ghostly Vlad and Biohazard carouse with our jedi spirits.

You should try to see if you can find the records for FBI agents shooting at mid-range targets. I'm too lazy.
From what I heard, they totally blow.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.
"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto
Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

That wouldn't even be classified as a mid-range target. And the target, nor the shooter, were moving. Sure, standing and going through a course, it can definately be hard to accurately hit targets 5 - 8 meters away popping into view.
But stationary, shooting a target at less than two feet away while sitting - there isn't a soul in the world that would miss that.

I was actually leaning towards the Stormtroopers. Also, I didn't mean the obstacle couse bit, I meant on a shooting range (with non-moving targets). Keep in mind that I my have heard bad info, but I don't think so.

I believe you. TV glamourizes police shootings and the such, but most are probably not that good.
