Well, if you've seen my site recently you'll know that I've put alot of PHP on it, and its all CSS driven formatting. If you want I could have a word with the guy that does my hosting and see if he'll set you up with some too...

I vote that the JP contingent gather in Perth rather then Washington, and instead of marching in protest of the war, get drunk in protest of the war. It's a win-win situation.

I can get the site hosted with tripod, which would be preferable since I know their system and can use it. If it's hosted on some kind of complicated devil worshipping site you'd have to go in as the webmaster as well as a writer. I do not understand these acronyms you speak of, but I imagine they're good things, yes?

Well it depends if tripod supports PHP, if it doesn't then I'll just have to draw on my client side web site design skills. If you want to keep the current host thats fine. I was just mentioning it . Mind you there are ways round it even if it doesn't.

I would like to write for JP, it's just a matter of thinking of an idea for an article that's worth writing about, and then getting off my lazy ass to actually write it. If this unlikely series of events does actually occur, I will email you the results. Also, I know a fair amount about web development, so if you have any questions about that then let me know.

Wow. This response is just kind of overwhelming. It took me a while to think up a way to reply. Thanks to all of you for offering your time and advice. You guys rock.

Lecter- I think we can work through tripod if you want. I'm looking for kind of a new look for all the pages of the site, so maybe the thing to do is kind of have a design contest to see who can produce something navigable. I like the idea of graphic navigation buttons, and I definately want the four pictures on the main page to stay. If anyone wants to take a crack at it throw a prototype together and we'll check it out.

Laughlyn- Would it be possible for me to get about 10-20 megs of stuff hosted on your site? If your place is ad free that would be awesome and I'd be happy to pay you some negotiable fee. JP is only about 10 megs at present.

About the protest- I wasnt expecting anyone to really go out of their way, just if any of you guys are in the area get in touch and we can all meet up.

To those who want to write, especially Emu- Definately try it, send in an article and if its good I'll post it.

I'll wack together a protype web page for you, see what you think of it. My design skills aren't the best, but I sure know how to streamline webpages and make them easiler to use. That and I can make some sexy add ins too.

Just a passing question... does Jelly Pufflemur have a symbol or image that defines the site as of yet...

PS I was looking at you're current site's html... let me just say that if I'd rather eat both of my testicles then try to work out what the hell is going on in that. Although that's just the raw HTML coder in my talking.

Not a problem, I have way more space than I need at present. The only potential pitfall is uploading your stuff. Tripod probably has a better upload system than ftp clients.

But if someone fixed you up with a phpscript for updating, then you'd be in the clear.
