    * A flare was fired 2 blocks to the east and 3 blocks to the north. (09-08 16:18 GMT)
    * A flare was fired 9 blocks to the east and 9 blocks to the north. (09-08 22:43 GMT)

I'm not sure what the flares are, but I assume there were people who needed help... and managed to fight off the zombies. I'm assuming that none attacked just where I am, because the announcement was made last night.

Bh, flares are usually used by zombie players with a human alt so that they can signal which safehouses have humans, or they are used by humans to draw zombies away from thier safe houses, or they are used by a new guy wanting to test out his new toy.

Nothing to worry about, unless the flare comes from your square.

Edit: I love the zombie speaking opitons. Why don't they have "Brains!" on the list?

And I wouldn't mind being revived. I prefer human.

The co-ordinates I mentioned are for a necrotech building. Wait outside and someone will pop out and unzombify you in a day or two.
