I ran into Leelee Sobieski yesterday afternoon. She was wearing one of those don't-look-at-me-I'm-a-celebrity hats. But it was her.

What shocked me the most was that not only did I recognize her immediately but that I was with a friend and he said, "Is that somebody?" And I said, without hesitation, "Yeah, that's Leelee Sobieski."

"Who's that?" he asked.

"Oh she's been in tons of stuff. She was in The Glass House."

"Oh." And then we continued on our merry way.

The weird thing is that I've never even seen The Glass House, I just remember the commercials. What I didn't realize until I got home was that I haven't seen anything she's been in except for Deep Impact but I didn't realize that until I looked it up on imdb.com.

My roommate saw her at a bar in Providence three or four years ago. He said she was making out with someone. I guess that's the performance of hers that sticks out in my mind the most.

Odd.
