I got rid of my PS2 today. With a complete and utter lack of promising titles headed our way this year, I just couldn't bear to sit and watch it remain on my shelf, unused. It went to a local pawn shop, where it will be sold to somebody who needs it more than I do.
So for now, GRFS! is on hold until I can get a copy of Fruity Loops (preferably for free) and get used to using it. Then Robot Mofo will truly rock the proverbial house.

truly a sad development. There are still some title i look forward to playing (granted many are already out, ie. .Hack and Disgaea), plus i have many unbeaten games in my collection currently. But still, if it was for the money, it's probably better your way.

there's always emulation! who needs new-fangled high-tech games when SNES and genesis and NES and oh-so-many other consoles of yore are at your fingertips for FREE!

Bye Mr.PS2...

I'm not giving mine away, not in a million years. All the work I've put into affording it, and buying my game library...

Exactly! I'm just going to try and rebuild the expansive NES library that I had on the old P166. That should keep my gaming motor running.

I don't do driving games. I had the first two GTs for a long time and rarely played them. If I wanted to drive, I'd go get my license.

Ahhh.. one of those types.
hehe.

Well if you are not into Driving games then you probably made the right choice. (Although having just finished XIII, I'm looking forward to the sequal, but that will come out on multiple platforms)
