What's your opinion! The SNES games of Star Wars were cool! Why not have it in DS or GBA?

I've never played the SNES Star Wars games. I used to own the NES Star Wars, but I traded it in when I was young and foolish for some other games... That was fun, but hard as hell. And you could get Han Solo killed, and he'd respawn at the cantina again. Which was fine until you left Tattooine. I always got him killed trying to take out the monster in the garbage pit...

Ah, memories.

SNES Star Wars was my first SNES game. I loved it, absolutely amazing, I still occasionally play it on my Xbox (emulator). A remake would be good I would say.

Those games teach you the meaning of frustration and the meaning of victory...

That sounds like fighting Sagat in SFII. I think I broke 3 controllers before I finally beat him.

I played it on SNES and emulation - I found it too annoyingly hard to beat the holochess monster - until I got my superpowered emulator, which allowed me to save progress - but it didn't emulated the death star run properly so I couldn't beat it on either SNES or emulation.
Super Empire was fine - but Super Jedi sucked - it took steps backwards, and the 3D fights were crap. It was a very frustrating game but enjoyable.

yeah,..rotj...doh!

typos are commonplace when you go to chefelf after getting off a 12 hour work shift

however,.come to think of it.. it would be kinda cool to see some fan create a rots for snes!!!

Yeah, I was thinking the same myself, hence why I asked.

i remember the first star wars snes game looking much different than the last two. i also remember it being the hardest of the three.
Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.
