Lucas has repeatedly said flat out he won't make any new Star Wars movies. He plans to rework the movies into 3-D for release in theaters in a couple of years, and help with the TV series and approve the CGI version of the clone wars microseries. But no new Star Wars Episodes, the "saga is complete." Of course SuperShadow is a phony, and he's the only one claiming that there are really going to be new episodes. Many people WANT there to be more star wars movies, heck I would too if I knew they'd be good. But it's wishful thinking. I would think if he were going to make these movies, he'd give more vague answers, or hint at them to keep people assuming they would be made. He'd want to start hyping them as soon as possible, like he did the prequels. Is he just unsure at this point? I certainly wouldn't see it as being impossible, just that Lucas keeps insisting he has no plans to make any more movies and the story is over for all he is concerned, and let the EU tell the "rest of the story" as they always have.
If somebody really wants them they should write some fan fiction or make some fan films. We may not have as much money as Lucas, but if storyline and characters are what really matter the most, then that shouldn't be so much of a problem. You won't get to profit from it and it won't be canon of course, but who cares about that?
Anyway, what would these new episodes be about, if not a retread of the Expanded Universe? Luke training Leia as a Jedi and starting up a new Jedi Order? The Rebel leaders setting up the "New" Republic?
