Actually, this topic confuses you as it contains a collection of buzz words, rather then a workable theory. You'll notice througout the first page that Ion Eon hasn't really give much information, and when asked for clarification, he seemed to avoid the question.

So, let's see. You're proposing increasing the force of gravity soas to instigate nuclear fusion? Let's look at our forces, shall we. The universe consists of(to our current understanding)four fundamental forces. The weakest, but longest reaching, is gravity. Next is the electromagnetic forces encounted in chemistry(positive and negative charges attacting, like charges repelling). Then we have the weak nuclear forces, and finally the strong nuclear forces. The last two are both very strong(compared to the first two), but only work over distances so short that they only come into play at atomic scales. This means that gravity is really only of any issue over astronomical scales, or when one object completely dwarfs the other(eg. us and the Earth). Atomic fusion takes place on a very small scale, with neuclei of similar sizes(eg. H + H + 2n -> He + energy), and as such gravity is so dwarfed as to be meaningless.

As for your theory about increasing gravitational pressure, that can only be done by reducing the distance between objects, or increasing their mass. Seeing as this is the end product of fusion(taking two lighter things and sticking them together to make a heavier thing), neither is likely possible to create the fusion. I don't think I explained that too well. As an analogy, it would be like using a word in it's own definition, if that makes things easier.

So Ion Eon, welcome to the forums. Hope I didn't come off as too overbearing

As to a few other points raised in the thread:
1. Jordan, Madam Corvax was on holiday for a few weeks. I think she's back now.
2. Revan47, I wouldn't suggest refering to new members as 'your homies', because quite frankly, the last few of them to sign up were utter assholes. Ion Eon has been quite polite, and you do him/her a disservice by comparing him to them.
3. Being a moderator on any forum is a responcibility, not a popularity contest. Make sure you actually intend to do some work when you put your hand up, don't just do it so you can wear it like a badge of honour.

Atomic gravity simply isn't strong enough - the magnification of gravity can only occur in large scale, suge as a centrifuge.
The best thing would be your electromagnetic forces - I had a few stray thoughts that you could make something with water-like characteristics by bonding tritium to conventional hydrogen - giving you all the components of fusion, and then essentially squeezing the two together... not cold fusion, simply lower the heat/pressure requirements of fusion. Fusion theories have been around for bloody ages - so far the only ways people can make fusion is inside an H-bomb. Still, if you steal my aqueous Tritium-hydrogen molecule and it works I'll have to eat you.
