Not that it had anything to do with the previous conversation, or the topic, but thank you Jordan for making this interesting(although Kirby's picture was great).
The Black Adder is good only if you haven't seen the later seasons. Otherwise, it just doesn't hold up.

Really? It's always been my opinion that Blackadder 2 was the best series, and Blackadder 3 was second. I guess they could be interchangeable depending on which episode you're watching, or maybe I'm biased because I like the Renaissance period more...and the beard.
Either way, those two are still undoubtedly the best. And you've made me want to pull out my DVDs again.

Opinion on Blackadder series should factor into account the existance of the blighty educational system. Since we're forced to learn about those eras certain elements of the earlier series have a definate charm.

blackadder 2 is where i came in... (in watching it that is... i'm not in the background anywhere). and it totally shaped the person i am today...
i love the first, but i prefer a witty intelligent blackadder.
altough BA2 is my favorite, i think my favorite episodes are in number 3...
