I haven't played Episode III, but I have played Lego Star Wars, and I though it was fun, but I probably wouldn't pay that much for it.

LEGO Star Wars is definately a pretty cool game.

Some people may think that its too "kiddy", but there is a certain 'charm' about it that makes you want to keep playing and unlocking.

How much to pay for it?

$33 is pricey.

I stole mine from the LEGO booth at the San Diego Comic Con, so free is the best price tongue.gif

I probably would not pay more than $20 - $25 for it...which is what it seems to be dropping down to now.

OR you could just find a torrent for the PC version and get the whole game that way...I dont know

My favorite part, was in the demo (which is all that I have seen, but still) is when you learn about taking over other people's and droid's bodies. I took over the droid, and then I took over Obi-Wan, and attacked myself. Yup, it was good.

Edit: 's

I love the game though I fuckin' hate the prequels. The game is pretty awesome if you have friends so they can play with you. (I suppose you have friends, don't you?)

And this is the only game where you can kill Jar Jar. Yipee!

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

I have played it. I agree that it is beyond terrible. It's so crappy. I was going to do a review but I just couldn't bring myself to play through it all the way. It's the worst combination of boring and frustrating.

Lego SW is pretty good. It's a game that's concept is far better than the execution. I was going to buy it. I was totally excited about it because it looked and sounded so cool. I was forced to rent it because I couldn't find any stores in my area selling it and later I was glad that I did. It's a fun way to spend a couple of lazy afternoons but it's not terrific.

The game is also great for some really screwy versus battles. Especially when you get the characters you don't control to fight each other. The ensuing hijincks are hilarious.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Yeah. I think the game has better lightsaber battles than the ROTS game.
