I think Seanbaby mentioned in one of his articles that there are people doing things hundreds of times less natural than homosexuality and the Christians don't seem to protest it. I mean, in Seattle it's apparently legal to have sex with large animals as per a recent newsdesk article. And yet Christians have the time to try to outlaw gay marriage in Washington.
I'm kind of going to join the consensus that people who are against gay marriage are just doing it out of biggotry, and not because god told them to or whatever. The reason that Christians tend to oppose gay marriage is not that Christianity is against it (there are groups in Christianity that are perfectly tolerant of gays) it's because some people who hate gay people use Christianity as an excuse and give the whole religion a bad rap in the process, not to defend Christianity though because the baptist and other southern protestant hierarchies are doing nothing to stop the hatred.
