Ok everyone is complaining that there is no way the Ewoks could have beaten the Imperial Army, but the answer is simple. The storm troopers are all clones of Boba Fett, who showed his martial inaptitude in the beginning of ROTJ by dying the most embarassing death. Thus, storm troopers equally lack military prowess. Thus, a bunch of pudgy midgets with overactive pituatary glands were able to defeat the storm troopers.

Yes, and by the time of ROTJ these clones were well into their 60's. They were simply too old to handle the nimble Ewoks.

According to Lucas himself, they are, actually.
But then he also said later that by the time of the Classic Trilogy the Empire had multiple clone templates (to explain the differing voices and heights in the OT) and mixed in some non-clone conscripts. But on the Attack of the Clones DVD he claims he "always intended" for us to make the connection that the Stormtroopers in ANH are clones of Jango Fett, because they inhereited the "head bumping on door" gene from him. Joke or not, this stance has been officially adopted. He even canonized the "head bump on door" gaffe in ANH by the Death Star trooper by adding a metallic "bonk" sound when the helmet impacts the door.
Clones = Stormtroopers!

He actually said that? I mean cause wow, that is really fucking stupid. It is nice how he invalidated a lot of things in the EU.
