Okay, let's go back to A New Hope. Obi-Wan is telling Luke that his father was the best star pilot in the galaxy, a cunning warrior and a good friend. Now, I know that Obi-Wan wasn't always entirely truthful with Luke but I did assume that his description accurately applied to Anakin Skywalker. Upon further reflection, and after seeing ROTS I think the words "cunning warrior" are about the farthest thing from a description of Anakin as possible. How about- "He was a talented but extremely lucky pilot, a whiny, easily manipulated fool who did all sorts of unecessary things in battle like cutting holes in elevators with his lightsaber and a tolerable companion" ?

I agree completely. Cunning implies subtlety and Anakin's about as subtle as a sack of door knobs decorated with strobe lights and accompanied by an air horn brigade.

At least Luke/Mark Hamill got to meet the seemingly distinguished Vader/Shaw.

It's a misnomer really. The line was supposed to be "Whining Courier".
