Quite easily. I don't know how you can say 'math'. It's just wrong. You don't say mathematic. That just doesn't make sense.

I would probably pronounce it boring. But the reason that Mathematics is spelled with an s is that it is plural. The class is singular.

It depends on where you are and what your education is. It is pronounced different in different places, some people think that math is the overall state of mathematics itself, However others believe that it is maths because there are many different kinds of mathematics.
(I could be wrong about this, I don't even know what we're talking about really.)
If I am correct then noone is wrong and talking about the plural/singular form of mathematics is useless.

Obviously being from Britain I say Maths, but I like it better cos it gives the end of the word a lovely soft sound to it.

I occasionally wonder whether I have an accent. I use the word y'all, because it drives my Latin teacher up the wall, but other than that, just a general northeast coast American accent- which really isn't an accent at all, according to me.
I learned a lot from Monty Python too. I kept half expecting the people being interviewed about the London bombings to say something funny. It just seemed such a familiar scenario...
