That article is too amusing, I do agree on one point though, the original title was far better. Futuristic Cloning Movie, But Don’t Worry, Plenty of Shit Blows Up.

"The Island" is a horrible title. No matter how many times I hear about it I always have to spend two minutes trying to remember which movie it actually is. Then I'm like, "Oh, that Sci Fi movie!"

Every time someone mentions it the first thing I think of is that Leonardo DiCaprio movie, The Beach.

I think it's hillarious they're blaming its failure also on its "original" idea, so as to blame the public as well, for not having enough imagination. Funny that, seeing as everyone I know found something to compare it with, most often THE CLONUS HORROR, but occasionally COMA. they might as well have made a movie about a comet that's about to hit the Earth.

It was a radical movie, a great story with good action! That's the thing that movie should have a great story, but is bad that the movie wasn't a success in boxoffice.
