Leaked Episode III Footage A good sign

I DLed some leaked Ep III footage, mainly of unfinished (meaning with green and blue-screens) footage from the movie. There are scenes of THE DUEL however, and even w/ithout the effects, it looks pretty damn cool. The fight does look fast like TPM, BUT is gritty as well like the OT duels. Hand-to-hand combat is used as they punch each other, and in one scene, Anakin grabs Obi-Wan, pushes him back, and then brings his lightsaber crashing down on Obi's with such confidence and anger that it really was convincing. There is also one freaky scene with Hayden in front of a blue-screen looking like he's possessed, and one can only assume that he's using the dark side at this time. There's also footage of Obi-Wan battling a blue guy who'll be digitally replaced, and a couple seconds of finished footage of C-3P0 walking through a room, and Anakin and Obi-Wan in a room, as well as some interviews with Mcgregor and Christensen.

I know I'm not nearly as big a prequel basher as you guys, seeing as I did enjoy Episode II, but trust me, this footage is very cool, and a very good sign. It looks like the duel in and of itself will be worth the price of admission, and hopefully the rest of the movie will follow suit.

I would honestly be surprised if Lucas and Co. intentionally did anything to generate interest with his OT fans. Maybe he has some new toys he wants to release.

So far I've only seen Episode I.

I can say with authority that Episode III will be better than that.

dry.gif Jesus, you guys are so easily fooled. I remember feeling the same way when the AOTC footage and trailer was released. Then I saw the movie and realized that the Lucas only showed us the good parts. He is doing the same with these "leaks". Don;t be fooled. George Lucas can't make good movies. Buy the original trilogy VHS and read the books.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon too. Episode III deserves nothing less then all the awards handed out at the Oscars.

yeah...well even flatulence jokes would have been better than the
terrible "humor" of ATOC. I've never minded a good old fart joke here and there.
