I love Mythbusters. Don't know what Mythbusters is? Then read up on it.
It is one of the only non-animated shows on television right now that entertains me every single time I watch it. It is, put simply, good clean fun. Anyone else here into it?

Mythbusters is awesome fantastic, purely because the two guys are both tremendously cool and witty nerds who love what they do, and relish their nerdiness. "I reject your reality and substitute my own" remains the best line I've ever heard on tv, bar none. Even their assistants are awesome. How much fun would it be to work on there, seriously.

I do like Mythbusters. Jen and I just watched the shark/ Jaws episode the other night. It was really interesting though I wished they'd spent less time talking about how they were going to construct fake shark heads and a little more time actually busting myths. Still very interesting.

That was a cool episode, but it was not necessary to stretch it out into two hours. Still though, shooting a scuba tank? Awesome.

AAAAAH yes!! That is good TV. I liked it better before the chicks started playing a bigger role. They cry too much. It was better when it was just Jamie and Adam and Buster!
"The problem is, you're not a kangaroo... that's a bear... and he's in your pants."
"Maybe artists shouldn't talk about their art."
"Well kids, I guess your father isn't a hermaphrodite."
"Izzy! enough with the rabid smootching!!"

One of my favorite shows. Watch it every time I can. Which is pretty much every episode.

I love how Adam just laughs at Buster's pain. Poor Buster indeed.

I've got to say Kari makes good "viewing" though! thumbsup.gif

Mythbusters is fantastic. It combines education and entertainment to give us a package even greater than the sum of its parts - edutainment. It's probably the best "chat around the water cooler" show ever.

i haven't seen it, but from what i was told of the decompresion test, it did not sound like an accurate methode...

there seems to a few facts that have fallen into "myth" which is funny considering how many myths are accepted as fact...

but i guess that's why they do what they do... so i'll have to catch it at some point.

I love this show. It's one of the few TV shows I watch.

My favorite episode was when they tried to see if a celing fan could decapitate you. Neither fan worked, so the tried a lawnmower! How awsome is that?

Adam's laugh is one of the things that makes the show. He laughs at the destruction or failure of the things in it, and we just laugh along with him. smile.gif It's just one of those laughs... if you know what I mean.

He may as well have. Those guys have created a whole new generation of retards. Two Special Effects guys (and a girl every guy can't help but fall in love with) take the most non-scientific approach to "busting myths" then fail to re-create what people have given first hand accounts of and things that have been caught on film, then because their unqualified asses couldn't pull it off they end the "experiment" with er.... MYTH-BUSTED!

This still makes for good television, I won't lie. However, it makes for bad party conversation when some impressionable couch potato interrupts an unrelated conversation because mythbusters said what you're talking about is impossible. Then a pointless argument ensues that completely derails the conversation you were enjoying that you will never return to because every intelligent or experienced person in the room will take my side to crush the no backing down assclown till its about to come to blows and his spotty little face is only an second from getting smashed into a fucking table before someone calms everything down by bringing up Kari's gorgeous bottom.
