Christ...

How bad is the social phobia when I'm not even comfortable hanging around here anymore? I feel like my spine is withering away.

...Not literally, though. I mean...you get the idea.

Don't leave, Janey. You're super keenly awesome, and you're always welcome.

Complaint: I am not visiting my girlfriend anymore. My roommate of two and a third years is moving out, and I will be stuck with two random new people to live with, one of which I must share a room with, all of this on top of my current roommate who is both older than me (he's 28), and who is always either gone or hiding in his room and being busy with school work so that all of our conversations continue to be awkward even after him living here for a few weeks.
This space for rent. Inquire within.

In a virtually serious sense, god punishes those who are rude, condescending and belitting to others.

I hate long distant connections on broadband.
So slowly performing.

I hope I can sort that out when I get a decent paid job down the line in the future.

(If you are implying that God is punishing me for being rude, condescending and belittling, I must correct you by saying that all of this shit would have piled up on me in exactly the same way as it has no matter how I behaved, as this is just the nature of being an art major in a university.)

I need no correction. I know, that's why I said in a, "virtually serious sense".
Just in the same way as this being a reminder to you.

Complaint:
I am being punished for my spending spree months ago with slowly recouping.
It was required without pleasure.
It will take a long time not to touch anything financially.

I have far too much to do in far too little time, and things don't look like they're going to calm down until around Februrary. And my PSAT scores aren't all that great. I think I need to stop listening to the little optimistic voice in my head that encourages me to get myself into painful situations on the grounds that I won't have any choice but to deal with them once I'm there. I know me. If there is a way to ensure that I have to double my workload, I will find it.

I feel like I am going to fail the first part of my exams in January because I have less than a month of solid teaching left starting from last week. I waited so long for that one to one tutor whilst forcefully spending (on attendance) the previous times in a noisy library not doing anything much with a build up of unanswered questions. I hate to fail things the first time. I am so worried.

Spoon: That sounds pretty fun. Get your Jane Bond on.

Mirithorn: Alas, I've been making the same mistake. And I don't know any way to stop aside from just stopping, so, good luck.

Ewww, uncomfortable models for school work. I know how THAT feels. sad.gif I hope you find someone's eyes to borrow, Spoon! sad.gif lol.

My complaining post? A friend of a friend I knew from the previous semester at my school graduated, and apparently designed a "kick-ass" portfolio (his words, not mine). He sent me a link to his work in progress, and it's TOTAL shit. He only has four pieces of work, and that's all he's putting in! ...and it's his drawings! ...and they're horrible!

... My complaint isn't about his portfolio, though (it just made my eyes bleed profusely is all). It's that me and my friends try to give him helpful suggestions about the Typography he uses, the horrendous HTML layouts, the fact that he shouldn't post work he's done for FAMILY (you know, making efforts to have him improve at least a little bit)... but he doesn't listen! Instead, he patronizes us and talks to us as if we haven't got a clue about design at all (kind of like that "everyone's wrong, but I'm right" mentality).

... Frustrating.
