And why not? I've been talking to myself since I was twelve, sometimes it's the only thing you can do because no one else will listen or understand.

Now when you start hearing answers...that's when you worry.

...

...Oh, wait...

Maybe I should start talking to myself... its a fine way to make sure Ill have an intelligent conversation.

complaint: I finally got around to drawing stuff, and my sharpie marker wouldn't write. so I shook it a little, and all of a sudden there's sharpie ink all over my arm and my blanket. it will come off my arm soon enough, but I'm not sure about my blanket. angry.gif

That happened to me so many times with ink bottles. They break so easily and I have ink stains in my briefcase yet to remove. I hear that non washable ink is the worst to remove.

Why were you carrying ink-bottles in your briefcase? I don't know why you would be. I haven't used an ink-bottle. Ever. I just stick to normal pens.

I cannot write well with ball point pens but I am able to control fountain pens so smoothly to write clearly and beautifully due to the nib with my joined up writing.

Another reason is that I have a 1950- 1960's Parker pen a retired tutor gave me in 1998. 14 carat gold nib but it is in the size of a lady's pen. It does not take cartridges but has a rubber based squeezing mechanism inside the cover to take up the ink from the nib. The ink is stored into the rubber cylinder and a metal cage that goes round it is designed to squeeze in the ink from the nib. I am still using it as for the small nib which is proving to be excellent for small writing.

It is like this one but black and no writing on the cap:

My other pen has a large nib which covers any small numbers and letters. I am now very grateful for that pen, not because of the gold nib but the size of it.

I have an ink adapter cartridge that came with my other one.
Also ink bottles work out cheaper for me to buy in quantity compared to buying throw away cartridges.

complaint: I didn't go to work yesterday because I felt like I had a cold, but I was all like, "I'll do some work at home." except then I didn't.

Just explaining on the benefits of ink bottles. I think $65 is a good price for that compared to the expensive pens I see in the shops.

It took six and a half hours just to format half of scsi Seagate 4 gb drive. It is so slow.
I tripped up and nearly stabbed myself at the back of my foot on the case door.

I feel better now so I have experiments to try on this IBM 8595 server. The power supply is massive. I wish I had more memory, it has 16 megabytes but only takes ECC.

Complaint: My car is "broked," so after visiting my high school's band camp I had to bum a ride home. And my dad took my keys so he can work on my car...

So I spent about 45 minutes locked out of the house on a hot hot day until finally Mom managed to take a few minutes off of work to rescue me... *shakes head*

The complaint isn't so much that I got locked out of the house as it is that I feel really silly for forgetting I didn't have my keys with me. tongue.gif
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

Complaint: My brother is coming over tonight with his wife and my nephew. I haven't hung around my nephew in forever so I've been planning stuff to do, places to see, people to meet... but then I call them today to find out when they get here. They say that they are only coming up to Utah for 1 day then they leave on Saturday.

Shit. The only day that they get to do stuff is friday. I work (and come to think of it, my mom as well) on fridays, the only day that I do work in the week. Fuck.

They waste the trip, and my only chance to catch up with both my brother and my nephew is shot all to hell.

There is one silver lining, the reason that thier trip is so short is my brother's work. So, if my nephew's mother isn't being too overprotective, we might be able to keep him for a week and send him home on an airplane.

And it suddenly occurs to me that the summer without an end is...coming to an end.

Goddammit, I have to go back school in nine days! Classes don't even start until the twenty-third, but we have to sign into the dorm rooms and then spend two days doing jack shit.

With DIALUP.

And no private showers.

Damn it all.
Check out my crappy drawings!
