I remember my first year 12 chem class, the teachers heel came of his shoe. That was rather amusing. But I have to ask, why do women need so many shoes? To paraphrase Coupling, do they grow extra feet while we're asleep or something?

Not that I've noticed, but perhaps I haven't been attentive enough.

The shoes thing stems from material fixation and the commodity fetish inherent in modern western culture.

Complaint: I'll have a job this summer. No more vacation for the rest of my life, at least until I'm too old to make use of it.

I also need to stop exploring in Oblivion and get back to increasing my stats, as I'm almost at the top of level 29. It's tough work maxing your stats.

I'm taking another driver's test tomorrow morning. ><

Something doesn't seem right today but I just hope that it does not happen how I think.

I remember the shoes which they are still selling with the metal piece at the lower end of the back which caused me blisters. For shoe cabinets isn't it typical that other shoes can't go in?

What's particularly pathetic is that I am going to predict that I won't get any sleep tonight (literally) and I still will be rushing to finish my essay at the last minute.

Unbelievably Huge Complaint (which I may never fully get over):

So, back at the beginning of May, a friend of mine (who I must admit, I hadn’t know an extremely long time) move in with her husband and two kids while they waited for the house they were buying to open up at the end of the month. I didn’t ask them for any money, nor did I put any pressure on them to be out at the end of the month. I just wanted to give em a place to stay so they didn’t have to live in a hotel for a month.

Well, a few days after they moved in my debit card went missing. I figured I just misplaced it among the mess that is my office, so I didn’t think too much of it. About a week later, after not finding it anywhere, I finally managed to cancel it. I ordered a new one, and about a week later I got the pin # in the mail. I waited another good week for the card (as they usually don’t come together).

About that same time, my spouse, whom I will here on out refer to as Matt, noticed some money was missing out of the bank account. Upon further investigation, we realized a good $500 was missing. We scrambled around trying to figure out how to freeze the account since it was a Sunday and the banks wouldn’t be opened the next day either since it was memorial day.

So Tuesday we made our way to the bank and found out that our entire checking account was empty. It had been completely drained over the weekend.

Matt says to me, hey I think its these people, to which I completely broke down in the middle of the bank and caused a big scene. You know it never once occurred to me. These people were like the nicest people ever. They were always buying us stuff (with our own money we found out) and making us breakfast and dinner and generally being very good houseguests.

Well, the atm video confirmed it was them a few hours later. On our way to file the police report, our tire blew. We didn’t have a spare and our account was frozen so we didn’t have access to any money to call a cab or get the tire fixed. We ended up waiting on some of my relatives to get us to the police station.

Later that afternoon, the state cops came and kicked them out for us. This stupid bitch kept telling me how sorry she was and kept trying to rub my shoulders and my arms and give me hugs while the cop was asking her questions.

And it turned out that her husband was a class 1 sex offender - he had gone to prison for forced penetration of someone under the age of 13. How fucking sick is that shit. That fucking monster was in my house - he used my shower, sat on my couch, ate my food and touched my play station controller. OH MY GOD.

He hadn’t registered since he had stayed with us and was in violation of his parole. They didn’t arrest him and I still cant figure out why, but they did arrest his wife - she had a warrant out for non-sufficient funds withdrawal over $500 from some other county.

And the worst part about the whole thing was their poor kids. They were crying and so sad. They had to pack up all their stuff, and had to leave their kitties and parakeet and watch their mom get arrested. How fucking traumatizing is that. I felt so horrible.

What the fuck kind of a person could do some shit like that to their kids? What the fuck has to be wrong with you to marry somebody who raped a little girl? And how the fuck could you let that fucker anywhere near your 13 year old daughter?

Sorry for the long post, but I had to vent.

Complaint: I've been worrying for months about Chemistry module 3, for which I was consistently scoring two grades below target. Modules 1 and 2 have been on target all year. Now it's a week until my final exam, I just took a practice paper and Module 3 is on target. So of course I've lost two grades in Module 2 instead. Aaaaaaaaagh.

I really can't form suitable words to respond to that.

Just as a guess: As she already owed $500 she might have been looking around for a host to pay it back except something stopped her, perhaps of feeling guilty. As well as trying to find the money later to pay out the $500, the last picking could be on the husband's request.

You give them a house and for that it seem they might have thought you were so kind that you are not sensible. She treated you as stupid in the end whilst attempting hug and trying to say how sorry as if the stolen money did not have much value to you, correct me if I am wrong. Didn't she even spend her last minutes speaking with the children?

I am not sure if they had jobs or even struggling but that is not the right way resolve their problems.

As for that, couldn't they be pretending of buying a house and just having a time of their life on what is left on someone they think they can take for granted?

Abbey - whoa. I can't imagine how awful that must be. I'm really sorry that happened to you. *hugs*

people suck, and it's even worse when you've trusted them in your own house. it's good you're rid of them, I hope they don't bother you again.
