Well, fairly predictably, my VD sucked. And not for the usual reasons either (ie, waa waa waa no one loves me, can't be arsed with that right now). I woke up with a hangover, couldn't find my good jacket before I left for my one lecture (which was found within seconds of me getting back after it), I fell up the stairs on the way to said lecture, half the lecture went straight through one ear and out the other (In Dutch: "How did Alan piss off Hanna?" blink.gif), then I joined the lads on their trip to the casino for the first time and lost £30 on Blackjack.

Not to mention that technically 3am after being in a club all night technically counts, and everyone had buggered off to said casino again without telling me. If I hadn't known one of the bouncers and gotten a lift off of him, I'd have had to walk home through Hull at night, not a good thing I assure you.

And that's just the stuff I remember. Not as bad as Kirby's day, to be certain, but still not so much fun.

EDIT: Oh yes, got asked a condesendingly easy question in Dutch, and I suffered a kingsize brainfreeze. Didn't understand teh question, couldn't formulate an answer when the question was explained to me... oh, the fun.

NOT a Complaint, but all this talk about waking up with crawly things in bed with you just reminds me of it: I had a dream a couple nights ago where I was carrying around a small lizard in my hand, and when I woke up, I could still feel it squirming around in my fist for another thirty seconds.

Conclusion: that stuff in the NOES movies about pulling stuff out of your dreams is real, but only for a very short while.

NOW the Complaint: I've woken up to find cockroaches in my bed before, and I'm fairly certain something crawled down my throat while I was asleep last week.

Aaah, the joys of living in a student's hall of residence, right, Jane?

Cockroaches? Worst we've had anywhere was mice. Which reminds me of a funny story:

Housemate: We've got mice! We've got mice! I saw a mouse! There's mice in our house!
*pause*
Stupid Housemate: So does that mean we've got mice then?

Sounds disgusting, not only do they eat a wide range of food but I hear cockroaches are a delicacy in some countries. Also used in some competitions:

http://onlypunjab.co...wsID-13049.html

Yet I remember a story about a man who ate 13 cooked cockroaches just to win an Ipod.
I don't think that cockroaches are as bad as they look, depending on where they have been.

Talking of mice, one solution I was thinking for a rat problem is to get a cat to starve as an attempt to find alternative live food round the house. I have my doubts as this is can be a cruel method. One fair method is to trap the mice and set them free miles away.

laugh.gif You know whats sad? It took me a good 6 seconds to realize what you were talking about. At first I was excited cause I love snakes. Then I was just ashamed of myself that I didnt see it coming a mile away. sad.gif

I feed my mice to my snakes. That is, if the cats dont get to em first.

I actually knew about this - one of my Punjabi friends told me about it. Absolutely disgusting, but kind of cool, ha. tongue.gif

Complaint: My room smells like a condom factory, because I was using liquid latex for an art project.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

Yes, as snakes are flexible I think snakes may do a better job going through holes, especially when they are hungry but the problem I see is trusting them as they might turn their owner into a snack.

Also what is the worse finding out of the two in the pants: A large hairy poisonous spider or a wide colourful poisonous snake?

Did not know that a condom factory was another term for a paint factory. What were you drawing and painting for your art project?

Am I the only one who actually likes mice? Don't kill them, catch them! Make them pets!

I know there may be benefits of capturing mice, clean and keep them as pets or to sell, but isn't that a form of oppression?

How can I befriend a mouse without locking it in a cage?
