Before I knew a lot about SW, I thought that the prophecy was cool because I considered Vader to be very stron and this was a cool reason he was chosen.. Then I saw the awesomely better OT, and I noticed, What the hell? Vader doesn't seem that powerful, I mean a half-ass trained Jedi could have kicked his ass (although it was his son! but really..) Frankly he wasn't shown to be powerful compared to the PT. So why even show that there was a prophecy (even though it is kinda "The Matrix" tacky..) that said he was "to be" powerful!? He never was... (And to be frank, I hate that Lucas "sword fighting wasn't at its best in the OT Empire days" bullshit he uses everytime someone notes that the original Vader vs. Obi-Wan battle is a piece of shit on a platter!) Vader shoulda instead have been a regualr powerful Jedi that just screwed up big time... the only thing that the prophecy does accomplish is to give a reason to Palpatine's unusual "Michael Jackson"-like obsession with Anakin ever since he "whoopsy!" blew up the droid ship. That is all, but really...

I know its been said alot but DAMNIT Lucas....
If anybody has Lucas's e-mail adress, I would appreciate it... After looking back on the previous six or seven years, I'm pretty pissed Lucas (no anyone around him) noticed some of the shit he shoots from his mouth isn't the "best" idea!!! yell.gif
