I simply can't tolerate this band. They're just too...blah. I don't understand the attraction. It's like Dave Matthews. They strike me as being music that frat boys sit around getting stoned and playing acoustic guitars to. Maybe if they were willing to actually take chances and try new sounds and ideas, rather than recycling the same songs over and over again, I could at least respect them. But let's face it, "Speed Of Sound" is the exact same song as "Clocks" from A Rush Of Blood To The Head.

I couldn't tell one song from another, but I do like them--if only for the simple fact that they help me fall asleep.

Coldplay are OK. Nothing more, nothing less.

I saw them at Glastonbury in June, and went along with the hype that this was going to be one of THE great festival performances and how breathtaking they are live. I think the word that summed it up is "Meh".

Chris Martin's a jolly nice chap though.

I hate Coldplay. Their songs are not repeatable. I hear them once and that is good enough for me.
