So you're saying they don't need super powers to make an interesting movie? That's true.

I just heard that the X-Men character Cyclops is going to die in the opening of X-Men 3 by being "de-atomized" by the Phoenix/Jean Grey.

wait a minute, what? I heard of straying from the comics (please correct me if I'm wrong) but that is just plain awful. Plus, de-atomized, I didn't think the Pheonix did that. I thought her power was fire based.

LA please say that is all a lie crying.gif
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

It won't be a spoiler if we can stop it from happening. I'm supprized that it's so quick though, if they're gonna kill him off then they should do it around the mid-end of the movie and focus on cyclops trying to save Jean/Dark-Pheonix and getting killed by her in the process.

He isn't even one of my favorites, but yeah, that just blows.

Nothing really. It's just a general superhero thread and not an X-Men specific thread.

To be honest, I always preferred Cyclops over Wolverine - which I'm sure is a cardinal sin of some sort - so I was very disappointed at how under-developed Cyclops was in the first two movies and at how passionless his relationship with Jean Grey was.

Yeah, I also prefer Cyclops instead of Wolverine. Wolverine is overrated and Cyclops is underrated.
Sorry, you won't be seeing a smartass sig here. Try with the next poster.

Gambit would kick everyone else's asses.
But I guess he won't be in the next movie, either.
