Actually it's der Fadda responding to Yahtzee's latest topic. The reason that the Croshaw family finished up in Warwickshire, England, was because Lord Stanley raised an army from his villages in Lancashire, and marched south to take part in the Battle of Bosworth. in 1485. On his lands was the village of Crawshaw-Booth(which is still there) and Yahtzee's ancesters were recruited to fight in that great battle. Because we were on the winning side, we were given land near the battlefield by the new King Henry VII. So thanks to Yahtzee's folk, and a few others, England evolved from a tinpot little European country to create the largest empire the world has ever known. Not bad for a bunch of cow herders from 'up North'.
From der Mudda - so that's why we are incompatible, I'm from York (the losing side). We are soon joining the Celts in Cornwall to live out our days.
