Your ignorance about history doesn't make this plot silly. It makes your points silly. biggrin.gif

You know that Poland had elected Kings for over 200 hundred years? And there is a country currently on Earth (I am not sure which one, I think it is Bhutan) where Monarch is elected for a term.

Still, electing a 14 year old girl is just plain stupid.

It wasn't stupid then. It was the Benchmark for SF/Fantasy. ESB raised the bar, and from then on you have the right to be disappointed.

Thats looking at SW through a nostalgic filter, Despondant. How did making an 18 year old a senator and a princess make a benchmark for anything?

So I suppose, Jaritan, it's like telling someone who was around during Beatlemania that "The Beatles only lasted ten years or so. sleep.gif For a Real group with staying power, look to the Rolling Stones."

ohmy.gif Despondent, that music reference is a joke right?
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

If you're asking do I think the Beatles' prolific musical influence will outlast the Rolling Stones', I would answer undoubtedly.

Stupid 18-year old senators be damned. Star Wars was the greatest film of the genre to come along in a long time, and it had something for everyone. I didn't know Leia was eighteen per se, I had an idea Solo was thirty or so. But "Three young actors" is what gave title to zeal.
Porcelain faced, monotonistic, fourteen-year-old world leaders are an open target. If they ain't the Dali Lama, rearrange the letters.

A bit off topic ...

You had me worried for a minute. The only person ever to be on par with The Beatles was Elvis, and they were fans of his.

And Elvis himself reportedly thought the Beatles were a bad influence on America's youth.

Death to the 14 year old world leaders.
