Standing at the microphone in his Jedi costume during a Q&A with George Lucas at a fan convention, a young boy chose his words carefully. Instead of asking a question, he paused, then simply said, “Thank you.” The room exploded into applause and a standing ovation. Tyler joined Lucas on stage, thanking the filmaker in person with a handshake. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

dammit.... i wish i had that chance...

i'd choose my words even more carefully and change one of those words.

Yeah, you took my line. But in fanboy mode, I have to say that that is what I would have done. However, I am almost never in fanboy mode, so... Yeah.

Observe.

Wow...that is just about the stupidest thing I have ever read. Based on that statement, I can see that the author has a deep insight into the nature of 'childish remarks'.

I'm heartbroken...I'M NOT A REAL NAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crying.gif

If you spent several months waiting and sleeping on a line to see the movie, and then you had to do it again when you were told where the RIGHT theatre was, you'd give praise to George Lucas for a film that the rest of the worldwide audience saw as a pathetic, over-the-top waste of time that it was. Easier to do that than admit what a monumental mistake you made, especially when it was possible to download the damned thing a day or so before it hit the theatres.

as for the little kid and the "thanks" maybe Massa George will let him go from CGI stand-in bondage now.

And Barend, I think Al Swearengen/Ian McShane should be inserted as the new Emperor/Palpatine:

ESB, the HBO Special Edition:

"What is thy bidding my master?"

"There's a disturbance in the Force you wheezing cocksucker that makes my head throb almost as bad as my dick did when I screwed my first hooker at the age of nine and got the worst case of the clap this side of the mighty Mississip....go get that cocksucker son of yours, Skywalker after you search your feelings, you woman, and get his cocksucking ass away from that gimp Yoda so we can turn him to suit our needs, now throw yourself off the balcony and remain on the ground till I tell you to move...."

"Yes, my master....

That's right. Drive a car safely all your life, fine. You're a good driver.

Crash three times on the way home, it's going to affect your insurance rates.
