I got this as an email forward. It's kinda interesting.

"If you take a look at the following picture , let me tell you ... it is not animated. Your eyes are making it move. To test this, stare at one spot for a couple seconds and everything will stop moving. Or look at the black center of each circle and it will stop moving. But move your eyes to the next black center and the previous will move after you take your eyes away from it.... Weird."

I apologize if this is from like 1998 and I'm only seeing it for the first time now.

Really cool!

I for one, never got those magic eye pictures. I'm talking about the hi-res printed versions.

was ANYone able to make them out from the sunday funnies? a web press going a million miles an hour doesn't yeild national geographic resolution. unless it's a swimsuit photo. the guys in the pressroom are good with those.

Usually I'm pretty critical with our local paper. but when they replaced magic eye with handy city tv ad space I really didn't mind. (although it did bother me when they continued to tout sunday comics -full page ads and all- as "something special". you mean I wasn't expecting sunday comics in the sunday paper?! it's some kind of a bonus?! now I rarely open them.

I have never gotten one of those Magic Eye pictures and am cool with the fact that I never will.

Side Note: Don't set that image as your desktop wallpaper. It made me feel like I was gonna throw up.

I love the magic eye things. I have a great big giant book full of them.

I swear I can't stop staring at this. What have you done to me? I'll never get my homework finished. (And other random excuses for complete apathy towards school work.)

I also set it as my desktop before this warning was posted. You'll hear from my lawyers shortly.

Thats cool.

I always got the magic eye things in the books, but the ones in the newsprint I could never get.

There must have lost something in the translation.

Yeah, I set it as my wallpaper AFTER reading the warning, what with being a little rebellious rapscallion and all. It was fun!
