Right, there's no point to this thread, except for:

1.) Me asking which image non-stealy script you used (I've tried, but the ones I use don't let me have a cool picture to replace the stolens, and hell, you know I love the self promotion...)

2.) Trade horror stories.

Bizarrly enough, I did an update on LiveJournals, with a picture of Green Day in it. You know, because every other damned LJ has a picture of Green Day on it. Within the last month, that picture turned out to be the most requested thing on the site. Eventually, by pure chance, this shows up in my list of referring sites. "Ooh, linkage!" I think. Only its not a link, its a round of cheeky image theft. Poxy gits.

I'm using no script. Instead, when I see it happening, I simply rename the bandwidth thief image to the one being used without my permission, and change the image in question to "(name)2.jpg" Eventually I'll start naming them random things to help keep it from happening often, but for now this is just me having fun fucking with people.
I've noticed both the I Can Totally Fly! and I Are Retarded! images showing up a lot on things like that. Mostly message boards where people still think it's funny to post a random picture that may or may not sum up their reply.

Well, if you want to make it easier, there's a couple of useful scripts, where you stick all your images and a .htaccses file in one folder, which does that automatically for you. I've tried a few, but they don't seem to be displaying the picture. Either way, whatever works for you.

Oh my... those... German loonies are really everywhere... and now they're even stealing bandwith... you all know where this is leading to, right?
