Recently I have been having an increased number of harassers who do little but complain about:
The ping
The game speed
Cheating
How crappy this is, etc

When I accidentally fall down once they say "that will do" and leave. As if their purpose was based on that. Rather than them playing the game it leads into a pointless conversation. No doubt they fail to realize that I have played that map since 1999 even when telling them. Now their abusive language has been getting to me to the amount of the same abusive comments I receive whether I ban them or not.

Them saying I set up a game to win.
(1) Setting up a game is the whole point for someone to win.
(2) As it is my game server it is setup to how I like and they have no reason to complain about cheating in that case because I have anti cheats installed and running.

It is like calling a professional footballer or worker a cheat because of them being good at what they do out of years of experience. That is what makes me feel miserable.

What would you do?

I have an idea to make me feel better each time that happens and as a little deterrent.

As I use chat loggers to log the messages in the games on my connection where I host the games I am going to make a little section called the idiots of.... A place where they can talk about it but can't do it!

I'll post the game details, their name, dates, ip address and their rude comments there and make fun out of them by what they say without me having to say much in the game itself, none exaggeratingly, the truth, respectively.

I know that some may not care because it could be my interest to find out why they do it, compare them and show that this is what happens when you don't concentrate on the game and harass people. Your words WILL NOT be forgetten. I'll use it out of public interest. I might even put up a warning notice for that.

For years I put up with this. Little speaking but more concentration in the game, talking outside and justification for conversation.

Any thoughts?

What I fail to understand is that if these people are so sick of the alleged cheating then why the fuck don't they leave?

What kind of game is this you're hosting/playing? As I don't know about the genre, I have no idea what kind of problems these people keep having.

By the way, I agree heartedly with you about turning these guys into laughing matter. I've recently read a few World of Warcraft articles (from American servers) on the SomethingAwful forums featuring stupid people who thought they were smart. These writings were hilarious, and I reckon that their subjects would think twice before acting like a total jerk again.

I am hosting Unreal Tournament, three games set to Morpheus at turbo speed and one Capture the Flag game for someone else.

In 1999 when I first started playing this game I was a beginner playing with the bots on Morpheus after school everyday. My intelligence of the game was so limited then. That routine has carried on and now I copy the intelligence of how the player move's and I make predictions to the places they may go.

There are many kinds of mechanisms for using sniper rifles on low gravity and guiding the redeemer through buildings accurately.

I sometimes loose but all I can do is keep on trying.
The saying goes to that "Practice makes perfect."

Well soon I'll get that bit up and running about the rude behaviour. I feel that I can no longer let these people get away with that. In case someone does type the names of these people hopefully my section "the idiots of..." may stand a place on the search engines to provide useful information about their behaviours.
