I just can't forget all the expectations about this films before the crap Lucas did.

My casting:

Director: James Cameron , Jhon McTiernan , Riddley Scott or any Really proffesional director.

Writer: Quentin Tarantino (well, we are imagining, aren't we?)

Actors:
Emperor Palpatine: Antony Hopkins
Anakin (adult, forget the teenager plot): Kiefer Shutterland (remeber it must ressembles both Luke and the old actor from ROTJ)
Obi-wan: Alan Cumming (Alex Guiness likeness and a great actor)
Padme: Minnie Driver (queen Amidala, not princess)

If we must keep them:
Qui Jon,Count Dooku and Mace Windu: not problems with Neeson, Lee and Jackson (But remember, Tarantino is in the writings)
Darth Maul: Vin Diesell (Again, Tarantino is in the writings)
Yoda (in a Gollum CGI way): Danny Devitto I want a bad mood Yoda! (Ha Ha! somebody remember his TAXI character?)
Jango Feet: Tommy Lee Jones He can be a really annoying badass
Stormtroopers clones (changing the script of course) : Billy Zane He allways looks like a clone to me.

Alan Cumming is a wierdo, and Vin Diesel will soon be working as a bouncer again if The Chronicles of Riddick prove anything.

I liked Ewan McGregor, and I think you can sense his frustration in not having good material. I'd keep him if it were my remake.

I'd go with the rumor early on that Terrence Stamp was the the person who eventually became Grand Moff Tarkin. He was great as a villan in the Superman movies, and The Limey is proof he has the range. And the guy that came up with the Death Star idea (going with what was pre-PT cannon) must have had a number of smaller but deadly ideas that led up to him being appointed head of the Death Star.

I'd even keep Christopher Lee as a dark Jedi (not fully a Sith) but give the guy something to do.

Gary Oldman as an Imperial baddie would be a good choice, and I'd have a scene mirroring the one on the Death Star with all the big wigs that included Christopher Walken.

And Natalie Portman in the Leia Slave outfit duds.

Come on?? Tarantino writing the screenplays?

Anakin: I'm gonna get medieval on Dooku's ass.
Obi Wan: Cool & The Gang, lets do this then.
Palpatine: (captured, he stares down at his book) Toby. Who the fuck is Toby? Toby...
*Insert some random 70's lounge-lizard song to replace Duel Of The Fates*
Obi Wan gets knocked out.
Anakin pulls out his gat *err* blaster and blows him away.
Anakin: I shouldn't have done that.
Palpatine: Whoa whoa, time out Greenbay - tell that bullshit to the tourists. You're playing on the darkside now.
Anakin shakes his head. Obi Wan wakes up.
Obi Wan: You ever hear that song "Like A Virgin" by Queen Amadilla? It's about a girl who is very vulnerable and she's been screwed over a few times. Then she meets some guy who's really sensitive to sand--

Any movie now with Ben Afflek would make negative 100 plus million dollars.

I had no problem with any of the actors in the prequels. They are all good to great actors (yes, even hayden whom if you ahve seen in either Ice House or Shattered Glass, you would be inclined to agree). It was the script and direction that blew.

Showmethemoney, I will give you props for creativity...though with the exception of Anthiny Hopkins as the director, I can't really say I like any of those choices.

Keep the same actors, make Peter Jackson writer/director with Lucas giving an overall plot idea...then you got something.

Thanks for the props thumbsup.gif , and is Ok to dislike or make fun of my choices. The idea is, too, to know who each one of us could cast in an imaginary perfect PT.
Hyden is a good actor, i know, I just imagine a different prequel with a more matture anakin to start with. You know, the idea of the first one with the experienced Jedi anakin, the second with the fall to the DS, and the last with the hunt of the Jedis across the galaxy.

Peter jakson... hmm, I love the first horror films he made, but it's not LOTR a little boring? (UPS! I feel I shouldn't have said that)
Anyway, i have great expectations with KONG
