Hey, I have two questions. First, how can I transfer a moving picture from a video cassette to my computer? You guys really need to see how David & Goliath turned out.

Secondly, anybody know where I can get a cheap copy of Flash to make my own wacky stuff with? Think animated contra comic with voices, or umbrella head or something unique.

I would run the RCA cables from my VCR to my digital video camera, and then have the firewire take the signal from the camera to the computer. I would convert the film to a Final Cut Pro file (there would be some transfer issues, and the thing would get a tiny bit pixellated), and use Final Cut Pro to make a compressed Quicktime film for viewing online.

Who is civilian_number_two? Does he have an alternate identity on the L&E forums. I get confused because some people have different names on both forums.

Well, that's nice ... if it's sincere. I can never tell when I'm being mocked.

Anyway, I always thought Yale was where people went when they couldn't get into Harvard.

And Nate, no. I'm not on the L&E forums. I'm just this dipshit guy from Canada who sent a mail to your multiple-reasons-to-hate-prequels pages, with suggestions for new reasons and comments on the ones you had. And one day you invited me to participate in the Star Wars forum here, and well, I haven't gone away.

Excellent. I'm amazed at how many people that I emailed actually came and checked out the forums and still actively participate. It's great. Except for that one guy that said: "NEVER EMAIL ME AGAIN DICKHEAD."

I was sincere!

I sent an email to Yale the other day. One of my favorite past times is sending annoying letters to Ivy League schools asking if I'm good enough for acceptance. I love to hear their responses. They are so politically correct and border line smug. "we accept applicants from many diverse fields". Bullshit!

You should read that as "We have several sons of CIA directors with the sufficient bribe money for admission. Sorry, but we don't have time to entertain any more serious applicants at this time."

Well, thanks for the info. Now I just need to get that high paying job somewhere to buy all that stuff and use it...

That means D. vs. G. might not see the light of the internet for many many moons.

Also, don't those schools only accept people who have relatives who've gone there before? I say go to a Canadian school. Just as good an education, one hundreth the cost!
