Stupid doubt sprung to my mind.

How does Darth Vader eat? He can't remove his mask, can he?

Maybe he's been slurping astronaut rations all these years!
Who knows.
Or maybe he likes it enema-style (very poor absorption, though).

Vader can remove his mask. Luke removes his mask in ROTJ and in ESB Admiral Piett sees Vader without his mask in a chamber. I think that's his ''eating'' chamber.
Sorry, you won't be seeing a smartass sig here. Try with the next poster.

I'd always assumed that was a meditation chamber because of the way he was sitting. Didn't exactly look like he was having a bowl of soup or anything like that to me. mellow.gif
I finally got a sig!

Why have one chamber for eating and one for meditation? A Meditation/Eating Chamber is much more economical. wink.gif

I, for one, always meditate better with a not-empty stomach. Although sometimes I fall asleep.

You mean you can't just plug him in for rejuicing? That would at least explain the I/O ports on his suit. I'd still like to know what the buttons are for.

Just for impressing chicks. Although one does work, and it changes the pitch of his voice - you can even get him to sound like Darth Chipmunk! laugh.gif

I always thought he didn't eat anymore - I kind of had the idea he was rigged for I/V

I know it's just a minor, almos non-existing detail... but it occured to me that Anakin had to eat his vegetables if he wanted to grow and be a great sith lord! pinch.gif

The real question is: Does Vader need to go to the bathroom? Maybe h had his meditation/eating/bathroom chamber.

You're right! With all the vegetable eating, he's bound to have a craving need for defecating every now and then.
Maybe he can control his bowels with the force.

Sweaty Vader: *Unnngh!* You... don't... want to... dump now!

Guess it would be a problem if Palpatine, after the burning, had transplanted some Toydarian (or whatever the spelling is) bowels into him! Haha!

Captain Needa: I must inform Lord Vader that the emperor is calling him. Where is he?
Random Stormtrooper: He's in the half men/half machine bathroom. That's next to the half girl/half machine bathroom.
*Needa enters the bathroom*
Needa: Lord Vader, the Emperor wants you to...
Vader: What are you doing here looking at me taking a shit! You're going to die!
Needa: No, sorry Lord Vader! Please accept my apologies!
*Vader force pushes Needa into a toilet and making him drown*
Vader: Apology accepted, Captain Needa.
