You can have a legitimate argument with spelling errors.
But I'd question the legitmacy of passages in the Bible before I question characters in said religious dogma.
A novel question, Dr Lecter.
Why would people chronicling the actions of their messiah neglect to record the first thirty years of his life?
You know how your angsty teenage brother is always listening to his whiney music too loud and mouthing off to your parents and will never drive you to band practice after school? Jesus was like that too, and nobody wants to read about how he'd turn his teachers' water into wine and get them fired from school, or how he'd be yelled at all the time by his mom for listening to Akhmed and the Snake Charmers on cassette so loud that she could hear them through the clay walls of their house. And Lester, my man, don't even get me started on the whole Virgin Mother child support thing. Let me say two words. LEGAL FIASCO.
I mean, just imagine if people had to read that and then be asked to give up their lives to him? They'd all be Quakers or Unitarian or something...
Well, Lassie I hope that answers your question. Now I'ma go get into some sort of wacky Hijinix with someone.
Your Pal,Stro Slade

They're waiting for Lucas to do the New Testament Prequel Trilogy.

Nothing you said made sense, hence all the spelling errors.
I was tired, posted that at about 1am

Don Burns, first of all, the Bible is not "gay unfriendly," the Bible speaks often of having love for all people. The Bible is "people friendly," but it does contain passages that state that homosexuality is frowned on.
Secondly, not "all the red necks" quote any one thing, nor is every person who quotes the Bible a red neck. To the best of my knowledge, the folks here at Chelelf have not discriminated against you, nor lumped you together in a sweeping generalization of a group of people, so it is unfair of you to come to this thread and make a statement about a group of people without classifying it with a statement such as "in my experience, those who quote the passages about homosexuality in the Bible are red necks." or "it has been my experience that people use the Bible to bash homosexuals."
That being said, welcome, and greetings to you!! Hope you enjoy posting here as much as I do.
Edit: Dr Lecter, no offense, sir, but I totally thought you were drunk too...

"The problem is, you're not a kangaroo... that's a bear... and he's in your pants."
"Maybe artists shouldn't talk about their art."
"Well kids, I guess your father isn't a hermaphrodite."
"Izzy! enough with the rabid smootching!!"

Jordan, I think that every person makes the choice of heaven or hell for themselves. Sexual orientation has little to do with it, so it's really not that big of a question. The Bible teaches that your destination for eternity is based on how you respond to Jesus and what he has done for you.

If there is a heaven, and it is not of this earth, I would theorise that the souls "living" there would not have a definite sex, and would rather just exist happily. So I hardly see why someone's sexual orientation would matter if there is no gender in heaven at all. And I really don't see why it would matter to God if people of the same gender get it on here on earth.
I've very often displayed that Leviticus was a complete nut job asshole, and I've also shown that Paul's sermons in Rome were likely more on the subject of Roman orgies than on loving homosexual relationships, but a 2000 year old book isn't always the best moral compass regardless.
I don't really care what is said in two obscure and meaningless bible verses. Why do people actually believe that homosexuality is a sin? The bible excuse seems kind of nonsensical since it's essentially just passing the blame to Jesus.

I don't know about you but I have never advocated that homosexuals, for any reason, be cut out of their mother's womb and thrown into a bin.

Yar. You can read it all here in a topic similarly titled "God" . Seems nobody can ever remember posting 101... Some day I'll condense all of those threads into one huge one and pin it so we don't have a billion.
