Earlier you asked about who created god? right? well im going to try to answer this but it is hard and nobody nos for sure. but technically God didnt create time until he created the universe and earth and all that. now with out time, that means God was pretty much there. no beginning no end. it would be like one eternal "IS". thats my answer.

Agreed.  It's always more fun to pick on Jordan and MC anyway.  They don't apologise!  laugh.gif

Go on, pick on me. Since I am "remotely your age" (34) there is no danger of me "trying to rub your back and sit on your lap and all that", so you are quite safe from my advances. devil.gif
An no, nobody around twenty is making any passes like that on me. Never actually was. Those guys I was speaking about were more like forty, and I was, like, 16. I suppose I was a far cry for those lap-dancing girls of today, since I was just pretty freaked by any such attempts. Belive me, dating balding guys with substantial paunches around 40 was the last thing I wanted then.

Revan, I am glad that you finally saw what I meant. Peace.

Actually, it was the ch'kegg.

A bloody strange animal, indeed.
Shaped like an egg, feathers and legs like a chicken.

And then, one sunny afternoon, came the day that the ch'kegg laid an egg and a gave birth to a chick (till that point, it just gave birth to tiny ch'keggs).
They evoluted peacefully and all 3 species (the ch'keggs, the chickens and the eggs - always cracking up all over the place) lived in harmony.
Until one day came a selective meteorite and all the ch'keggs and eggs were burned in a fiersome fiery hell.

That is how the chickens came to rule.
Incidently, also about the same time the fried egg was discovered.

Evolution, my friends, is a tricky thing.

And the answer to this irritating question is thus finally revealed.

I work in a video store too and you're right in saying it gives you a good look at the breadth of a society. We get everybody in there, happy people, shitty people, people who like to hagge about the price of moves (te he he). I've had guys and girls ask me out and I figure it's all good, I'm not all that stressed.

The only line I've ever used that actually worked was "there's no way you're gonna go all night without hooking up with somebody, you may as well hook up with me, I'm kick ass."

How on earth it worked I'll never know, but it did, although she dumped my ass days later thumbsup.gif

As for the Raven, I have shaken hands with the young man and he seems a solid sort, perhaps a bit headstrong but that's all good.

As for who created God? I don't know, atheism and religion both come down to the same factor. We don't believe in god because that seems ridiculous, but those that do say that he/she created all, there MUST be a creator. Ok, well .... then who created the creator ..... usually there is a bit of a pause and a swallow and a nervous tic and then a ... well he just is always ... he ... hmmmmmm

I don't think we'll ever know until we kark it. I figure I'll ask the big man when my time comes, if he exists, if he doesn't then what's the stress

To steal a line from 'Way of the Gun' "What are you going to tell god when you meet?"
"I was framed"

Keep up the good theological debate, it sure beats the shit out of working ...

Floppy, just go with the flow man.

I don't think anything came before god, he was just there. Thats the thing about him, you just have to have faith.

Faith's about as good as hope, which are both absurd and not required to be happy.

If I get a chance, I'm going to grill the powers that be for info after I die. If there's no afterlife, then I won't exist enough to care.

Why worry about death, you won't be around to experience it.
