I guess my idea of a pre-emptive strike is not the same as your definition of the word.

I like to seperate offensive attack from pre-emptive. All Pre-emptive attacks are offensive attacks, but the vice versa is not true.

I also don't think suprise attacks are all pre-emptive either.

Any how, enough of pre-emptive talk. rofl.

Let's blast that guy to hell for no good reason. But say that he wanted to kill us.

That's what I'm talking about. A pre-emptive attack is an attack that ensures that the enemy will not be able to be in a position to attack or defend an attack from you with any success. Maybe I"m just being silly.

Maybe when you compare Saddam to Hitler it's absurd, but Bush to Hitler is very much spot on, of course that's not what I'm about at the moment, I'm just trying to show that they both used "pre-emptive defensive strikes."

And another thing Jordan, I'm still waiting to find out if you agree with the administration's stance on Baslanistan and want them bombed or sanctioned for supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.

I don't know much about the situation, nothing to be exact.

What is the muslim brotherhood? Muslim anything is generally not good.

I found this

http://atheism.about...brotherhood.htm

By the looks of it, the Brother Hood are religious zealots, your worst enemy. But at the same time they also support terrorism (freedom fighter!), so in many ways they're your best friend. I could see you being torn apart on this issue.

I don't know who the Baslanistan are/is. I did a search and found nothing on it.

Comparing anyone to Hitler is wrong and unfair. Hitler slaughtered half of Europe and wanted to take over the entire globe, murdering millions in consentration camps and helping ultra-nationalistic evil groups like the Romanian Iron Guard and the Croatian Ustesha.

To be fair, anyone that compares anyone to Hitler is either an idiot, or uneducated becouse no one will ever compare to him... he is uncomparable.

(edit) btw, Im agreeing with you, just backing you up.

Buhdist anything is irrelevant in todays world. They are like religious hippies. Only they don't have sex.

Bush is nothing like Hitler. You can compare Bush to his dad.

Ya, and they do a lot to impact current affairs.

The world's largest religion is Christianity. It actually does have over 2 billion followers. Korea and China being the new breeding grounds. Korea is split down the middle. Half is Christian and the other half is buhdist.

China is largly atheist.

http://www.religious...rg/worldrel.htm Infact, Budhisim is one of the smallest religons.

As far as dogma is concerened, atheisim not excluded, Chrisitianity takes the cake with 1/3 of the world population.

But that takes into account every denomination. It's also starting to decline. Islam, on the other hand, is increasing. Scary!

Not really, just very liberal. From Wu over Daoism and Konfuzianism to Buddhism - they've had it all. Nowadays it's a common sight seeing them praying at a Buddhist temple, whilst praising Konfuzius' wisdom and meditating over Dao - one of the reasons why Christianity and Islam hasn't spread that much there, with their strict monotheism.

Islam will never spread outside of North Africa and the middle east. China does not allow blacks or middle easterns into their country as residents so it's never going to happen.

Christianity is controlled in a few churchs. Most churchs in China are underground and take place in peoples houses.

1/3 of the populace is hard to convert? Man, religious people rule this world. They make up the vast majority of it's populace.

I find Muslims to be very reclusive. The diehards are unfriendly as hell. Working in a video store, I see them all the time. The women dress up like ghosts! They don't interact with non-muslims, they are the worst sort of people if you want an integrated society. I'm sure some one here will warn me that they know 1 muslim person, and therefore they all can't be reclusive as I say, so I'm going to say the vast majority (all of the ones I've seen) are reclusive and stringent.

Let's put it this way, if you fall in love with a girl from a muslim family, don't meet the parents. They will probably kill you and your girlfriend. That or ship her away to muslim land where she can't think for herself.

The Quran is full of violent passages. Civillian said it best "Islam is 300 years behind Chrisitianity".

The only reason people are sypmathizing for them is because the US is at war with Islamic countries. The people who hate the US (ie JM) will side with the Islamic nations. If anyone else attacked them other than the US or their friends, say some communist country, that country would be applaued as freedom fighters instilling a healthy government into a fundamentalist religous society. These people are socialists, extreme liberals, and pacifists. They probably hate the way Islamic states are run, but it shadows in their hatred for the US. (or whoever is the world power of the time, big corporations, big brother, big oil meanies)

Check this article out. It's pretty cool! It talks about oil, Iran, US modern empire, etc...

Really cool, never knew how it all worked. Well written too.

PS- If the states falls, then we all fall here. The eastern and european markets will benefit. But not us. So perhaps Bushes war IS in our best interest....?

Propaganda... anyway, I find Cathelics to be the problem on the planet, not Muslims.

Intolerance and ignorance overload... *head asplode* Any religious fundamentalists are like that. By now you're surely familiar with Leviticus... I can't even begin to discuss everything in the past posts that makes my brain throb.

And Gobbler gets a gold star for spelling "Buddhist" correctly.
This space for rent. Inquire within.

Woohoo! Thank you, thank you sooo very much. I'd also like to thank the Academy, and my mum and all of my teachers who swore that I'd never be able to type anything right in my whole damn life.

And I really do share that intolerance regarding intolerance.
