J m will probably get here to answer that before I can stop laughing. All I can say is, why the fuck should people interested only in money, give a second thought to freedom, which costs money.

Right because that really worked in the USSR, Romani, Veitnam. They end up being military dictatorshipts. Besides, if I'm smart enough to figure out a way to run a business and distribute goods in services in return for goods and services, why shouldnt I be allowed to keep what I have rightly earned? Sounds like that economic system would be encroaching on my rights rather than adding to them.
Short Story:
Bob is smart. Bob figured out how to make lemonade. Bob figures out how to market lemonade. Bob sells a shitload of lemonade and makes millions.
Dave is a lazy bastard who lives at home and beat super mario in 12 min. His mom kicks him out. Dave has to make money to support himself.
Dave is an underachiever. Dave makes a halfassed attempt to sell lemonade. He makes very little.
Why should Bob suffer and have to give some of his hard earned money to some idiot who doesnt deserve it. Because thats what communism is all about. We all share. We even share with people who dont deserve it.
Dave gets a shitload of money from Bob. Dave has learned that he doesnt need to try to excel and be competative because the Daves of the world will be paying for his new Super Mario 2.
i meant the Bobs of the world of course

In this case of not doing anything, "If he cannot be bothered to move up the ladder, why give him a ladder at all?"
Perhaps Mario could climb the ladder for him.

So who ensures Dave contributes? Local officials? State officials? Military? Certainly not Dave (since Dave doesnt give a shit - no sense of personal responsibility) Who decides which individuals are fit to be apart of the community and share Bobs earnings? Some government leader no doubt. Government government government. Lets give all the power to the government. The government knows best. The government knows how to best spend your money. The government knows what you deserve and what rights you are entitled too.
What happend to the people being able to spend thier money as they choose. Why cant Bob give money to the charaties of his choice. Why does Bob have to give his money to the Government so THEY can redistribute it as THEY see fit. Where did Bobs freedoms go?
Oh thats right - Bob no longer has any.
