The E. Sleaze-Bag man is actually played by the guy who played Mouse in The Matrix. Should that be another reason to hate him and the movie as a whole?

He was going to be a doctor too! Doctor Sleazebag will see you now! Hey he has a description but at least he speaks a line, plenty of characters in the database who say nothing at all.

His alieness is brilliant tho, he looks talks and acts exactly like a human except he has Shreks' ears on his forehead, brilliant Lucas, presumably theres an entire planet of these fuckers who has evolved exactly like humans except with useless protrusions on their forehead. Believable.

It's true! We've gotten steadily more "human like" (thanks Star Trek!) aliens as the series has progressed, instead of fewer, which you'd think would be the natural course (after all, the excuse given is always that budget constrains you from making exotic alien makeup and costumes or CG so you end up with people who just have some silly putty on their faces or tinted skin).

I've seen the explanation given (in fanon) that all these species evolved to be more like humans to fit into a human dominated galactic culture or something. Of course that doesn't answer the question of how humans evolved exactly like us in this distant galaxy so long ago! Most sci fi has humans in it, without really explaining how this is possible, but then much of sci fi takes place in our galaxy or at least in the future and so the humans in it are assumed to be descened from us living here on Earth now.

Another one of those "givens" I guess, like them speaking english (that's supposedly "Basic" translated for our benefit, including their lip movements, I suppose).

In the first Timothy Zahn book that started the EU, Heir To The Empire Luke sips a beverage in bed Lando says is called hot chocolate he got in a really involved trade that came from a really far away planet called Earth, so the SW universe includes Terra Firma as well. I assume the scream I will hear when you read this will originate from Australia, I kid you not......

Well that's nice. Hope the cylons don't give any trouble.

Then again, it is a GALAXY far away; Not another Universe.

Just as long as hot chocolate was available on earth the long time ago that SW "occurred".

If I had the damned book in front of me, I'd quote chapter and verse, but I do recall it was in the first book and in the beginning when Luke has the dream where Obi Wan says he's leaving for good so no more manifistations of himself when the shale hits the fan. Still, very lame overall for an otherwise good book.

Even if I wanted to make something up as some kind of dark humor April Fool's Day story i couldn't have come up with that. IU can't recallmuch from the Zahn book years later except that I enjoyed the first one over the other two that followed, but I will most likely never forget that reference. Disturbing to say the least......

Maybe the effect of coco in the SW universe on humanoids and those that dabble in the dark arts of the Sith in particular is that it gives them the ability to shoot out Sith lightening from their rear ends. Palpatine was the first to be able to redirect the energy toward his hands. Its all about coco, and with Order 66 was issued to nail the Jedi who had control of the source for the mini marshmallows. Makes more sense to me.....

Must be interesting to have a character with a name that STUPID on his resume. I feel for this poor guy.

What was wrong with Mouse? I thought he should have been called Weasel, but there was nothing wrong with him there. Nothing wrong with the actor, either. It's the director and the screenwriter who should be taken to Singapore and caned. Oh, wait, same guy. Wow, will HIS ass hurt!
