Pinback- Summer in Abaddon

This is a great cd by a great band (IMO)- sort of a mix between The Shins and Modest Mouse, but I like them better than either of those two.

I've passed over that Madness record so many times. Even though the title track is one of the best "EVERYBODY SKA!!!" songs ever made.

My most recent CD purchase was some thing that a kid at school made. At fifty cents I thought I wasn't really losing much.

Tomorrow, I seek to venture into the wilds of a shop somewhere to pick up "How The Great HAve Fallen" by Raging Speedhorn. I'm only announcing this early, because while I was away at uni, they closed the CD shop in town that I buy/bought 95% of my CDs from. Naturally, this greatly angered me.

Orange Juice- can’t hide your love away forever (I lost my other copy of it)
The Breeders- Title TK (same goes with this)

Reader- have you ever heard of a Japanese band called MetalChicks? Its one girl from Buffalo Daughter and another from 00100/DMBQ (I think I taped a song of theirs for you). I thought you might be interested.

Who can keep track of all those Boredoms projects and side-side projects? They're like the Wu-Tang Clan of rock in Japan.
Thanks for the referal. I am indeed interested.

One of the local used vinyl shops has a 50% off sale going right now, so I stopped in today and got four new records:

Bow Wow Wow - "I Want Candy"
Bob Dylan - "Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits"
Billy Idol - "Don't Stop" (Totally going to see him live next month!)
Patti Smith - "Horses"

Grand total of $11 without the Kid Koala ticket that I bought with them.
